Problem :
As artificial intelligence continues to transform creative industries, questions have emerged around the future role of artists and designers. While AI can accelerate production, meaningful storytelling still relies on human creativity, emotion, and critical thinking. The challenge was to communicate this evolving relationship through an engaging visual narrative.
Solution :
EPOCHS was developed as a narrative-driven animated film combining storytelling, character animation, and visual communication. The project uses animation to explore the collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence while demonstrating how technology can enhance rather than replace creative thinking.
Challenge :
Translating an abstract technological topic into a compelling narrative required balancing technical ideas with emotionally engaging storytelling. The project involved developing expressive characters, refining visual language, and iterating on narrative pacing to communicate complex ideas in a clear and accessible way.
Summary :
EPOCHS demonstrates my ability to combine concept development, visual storytelling, and motion design to communicate complex ideas through animation.
